GOALKEEPER Daniel Lloyd-Weston spent time as a junior with Crewe Alexandra, Liverpool and Stoke City before embarking upon a Scholarship with West Bromwich Albion.
At the end of season 2006-2007, Lloyd-Weston was released by Stoke City and immediately went on trial at Manchester United FC. A number of other clubs in England and Wales offered him scholarship terms at their respective youth teams, but he joined West Bromwich Albion in June 2007 after playing several trial games.
The Manchester-born player spent two years with the Baggies, playing in a number of reserve team games as well as becoming the regular youth team number one, and joined Port Vale as second choice goalkeeper in 2009.
After a year at Vale Park he transferred to Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2010 and made his first appearance for the club in a pre-season friendly against Leamington.
